Definitions

Affiliates

Companies related by common ownership and control.  They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • Our affiliates include companies that utilize the

Cantor Fitzgerald name, including financial

companies, such as investments advisers, brokers, dealers and insurance agencies.

Nonaffiliates

Companies not related by common ownership and control.  They can be financial or nonfinancial companies.

  • We do not share your personal information with nonaffiliates so they can market to you. 
  • We may share your personal information with certain nonaffiliates to provide you with the services for which you have engaged us.  Such nonaffiliates may include broker, dealers, custodians, insurance companies, and other financial or nonfinancial counterparties. If your Cantor Fitzgerald Wealth Partners Financial Advisor is also a registered representative of an unaffiliated broker-dealer with which you have an account, we may share your personal information with that broker-dealer.

Joint marketing

A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or service to you.

For example, we may, with your consent, share your personal information with nonaffiliates to provide you with the services for which you have engaged us.
